A Warhammer 40,000 Novel
A decorated Ultramarines lieutenant recognizes the signs of an impending Tyranid invasion and launches a desperate counteroffensive to save the Imperial world of Regium.
WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK
It chronicles the Imperium's desperate fight against a threat that is not only seemingly endless, but seems ever more adaptable to its foe. Hive Fleet Leviathan returns, and it is more dangerous than ever.
THE STORY
"The dream... is an omen... of the end."
The fortress world of Regium boasts a proud history. While others fell to ruin and damnation, it endured through the millennia, steadfastly defending the Imperium of Mankind. But now, it is being shaken to its foundations. Parasitic plagues run rampant, and its inhabitants dream of terrible monsters feasting on their flesh and bones.
Lieutenant Castamon of the Ultramarines knows the omens of an impending Tyranid invasion all too well. The battle-hardened veteran gathers his warriors and sends a strike force to the edge of the system to destroy the aliens before they reach Regium. But this new tentacle of Hive Fleet Leviathan proves unpredictable and dangerous, forcing Castamon and the First Company to summon all their skill, strength, and zeal to avoid complete annihilation.
